Marco Silva’s appointment as manager was warmly welcomed by Everton fans in the summer.
It seemed as though the club were keen to recruit the Portuguese coach for a while, and the timing of his arrival meant that he could have the summer to get in the players he wanted.
Silva shaped his team by bringing in new defenders, midfielders and wide men, but the results on the pitch have been inconsistent.
As it stands the club sit 11th in the Premier League table after winning three, drawing three and losing two.
Everton have shown signs of progression, but they have still struggled in certain areas, particularly up front.
Even though the final third has been the main focus where Everton are concerned, perhaps they should consider bolstering their midfield even further.

It is a long season and if Gylfi Sigurdsson suffers an injury, the Toffees’ options are limited, so we asked you if the club should make a move for Chelsea outcast Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Judging by the results, the majority of Everton fans would welcome Loftus-Cheek to Goodison Park.
